Counselling and Psychotherapy
We would begin by exploring what has brought you to therapy at this time and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we would decide on the most suitable frequency of weekly sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes.
I work in an open-ended way, allowing you to move at your own pace. As well as focusing on your current concerns, we may also explore how past experiences and relationships influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour today. Our therapeutic relationship becomes an important part of this process, helping to bring awareness to unconscious patterns and create opportunities for growth and change.
My approach is psychodynamic and attachment-based, encouraging your personal development and integration of the whole self — emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual (in whatever way that holds meaning for you).
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’d like to take things further, we can arrange a brief telephone or email conversation to discuss what you’re looking for and to see whether I’m the right person to support you at this time.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework

2. Where I believe you, or a third party is in serious danger.
3. Where I would be liable to civil or criminal court procedure if the information was not disclosed (such as terrorist activity).
