Tina Abbott Counselling
Mindfulness
Please note I no longer offer private Mindfulness courses. If you have previously trained with me and would like to check in with me regarding your practice, or would like a regular, or a one off session to discuss practice issues you are very welcome to contact me. I am still available to offer courses within an organisational setting-please contact me for further information.
What is Mindfulness?
Jon Kabat Zinn describes mindfulness as bringing your complete attention to the present moment. It is paying attention with a non judgemental attitude, and fostering an attitude of curiosity, exploration, kindness and basic friendliness to everything we experience.
One to one sessions are available at my home in Walterstone, £75 per hours session. These can be useful to use as a check in with your practice following a course, or if you have a practice and want to reflect or ask questions on practice.
