Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision within a psychodynamic framework to qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists. I have almost 40 years’ experience supervising both long- and short-term work across all theoretical modalities, supporting supervisees from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds.

In addition to working in a diverse range of settings including the charitable sector, further and higher education, the NHS and private practice I have extensive experience managing counselling services, including leading a Staff Counselling Service within the NHS and at Cardiff University.

 

I am a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Supervision from Leicester University.

Supervision within a psychodynamic framework aims to be a supportive, relational, exploratory, reflective process. My aim is to facilitate the therapist’s self-awareness and deepen their understanding, as we explore unconscious dynamics, transference, and countertransference dynamics in their work and our relationship.

Fees

£80 per 50-minute session for weekly or fortnightly supervision.

Please note for cancellations without 24 hours’ notice, a full fee is charged.

I am happy to invoice employers where needed.
