About Me

I am a BACP Registered and Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Senior Accredited Supervisor with almost 40 years’ experience in psychotherapy, supervision, training and group facilitation.

Over the course of my career, I have worked in a wide range of settings, including:

• Two drug and alcohol agencies, supporting both children and adults affected by addiction — whether their own or that of a family member.
• Further and Higher Education colleges, working with students and staff on a variety of personal and professional issues.
• Private practice, offering both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy, including several-times-weekly work.
• Two NHS hospitals, as a Staff Counsellor supporting healthcare professionals.
• Cardiff University, where I was Staff Counselling Manager for ten years, providing counselling, supervision, and service leadership.

I am currently in full-time private practice, offering therapy, supervision, training and workshops.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients — from young people living in inner-city environments facing emotional and physical deprivation, to NHS consultants, senior academics, and professionals navigating the pressures of modern working life.

I abide by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework
