Reflective Practice groups
I offer reflective practice groups to organisations, providing staff with a supportive and exploratory space to step back from the demands of their work and think together about their experiences.
Groups offer an opportunity to explore the emotional impact of the work, challenging situations, relationships and team dynamics, as well as the wider organisational context in which people are working. They can also provide space to think about change, uncertainty and the pressures that can arise within professional roles.
Working reflectively together can develop greater self-awareness and understanding, help staff process the emotional demands of their work, and support resilience, wellbeing and professional development.
My approach is relational and reflective, with attention to both what is happening within the individual and what may be happening within the team and organisation.
Reflective practice groups can be particularly valuable in health and social care, education and business settings, and can be tailored to the needs and context of each organisation.
